Gift Aid envelope FAQs
Your questions about declarations, packaging, artwork and how to order answered here.
Does a Gift Aid declaration need a signature?
A signature on a Gift Aid declaration has no legal significance. The validity of a declaration depends on several criteria being fulfilled. See our Guide to Gift Aid for more information.
Is your Gift Aid declaration approved by HMRC?
Yes. Indeed HMRC’s model declaration is similar to ours, if lengthier. HMRC probably see more of our envelopes than any other single style.
Can I have any quantity or just those shown on the list?
Just those on the list. Packaging and pricing becomes tricky unless ordering in round thousands.
How many envelopes are in a box?
Generally speaking the box you are referring to, if it’s standard envelopes previously supplied by us, will contain 1,000 envelopes.
What colours are your Gift Aid envelopes available in?
Yellow, blue and white.
Our designer has produced our own artwork. Can we use this?
Of course. Phone us or email it over and we’ll discuss the best options for turning this into a smart envelope.
We are not a church and we don’t want a cross on our envelopes. Can you help?
Yes. Just specify that you don’t want a cross. We can supply these untitled in white or customised in white, yellow or blue.
Can you print in colour?
Oh yes. Even full colour. However, you wouldn’t be able to order full colour envelopes online due to the complexity of your requirement. Just call or email us and we will talk you through the options.
